Faire has started!
I know a number of people wanted to go to the Renn Faire sometime in their lives ( this is for SCA people) and the first weekend of Faire is this weekend.  So, who wants to go?  Maybe we can all go together.

I would be interested in knowing their reactions to Faire ... i.e. if they are as weirded-out by Faire as I was by my first SCA event ...

We've got a demo this weekend, so I won't be available this particular weekend. BUT I've been trying to lug me bum to one of these things for a while, so it would be nice to go at some point!

I'm thinking possibly either this Sunday or next, although I know that's Palm Sunday and Easter, respectively.

The faire runs for 6 weeks so we might make a better time since I will be out this weekend and of course I celebrate Easter.

I have *never* been to Renn Faire and I would like to go with some "experienced" folk! ;) If you guys were thinking of going later in the month (after Easter), I would love to join you!

I've been to several faires and in high school I found them mildly disappointing, and after I found the sca, not even worth going to. So maybe it's worth going to see what you see in it. So I'm a maybe, Saturdays are better than Sundays.

Hmm, maybe we could get a bunch of people together to go to Faire during the day and the Spade thing that night? It'd be Saturday the 18th, the weekend after Easter.
