| | tired | ] | Things are going much better now. We moved her out of critical care and into the regular hospital. They had put 3 units of blood in her and she is looking a lot better having regained all of her color. She also seems to be maintaining a normal hemoglobin level. She is still on the clear liquid diet and luckily they are allowing her to have two bowls of broth since she seems to want savory flavor rather than the sweet flavor of the jello and juice. Most of all she "Just wants a damn biscut!" with butter and honey. She says if she found a lamp and a genie popped out she would ask for a healthy colon and a biscut. The situation now is that she just has a long slow recovery ahead of her. The Doctor said her's was the worst colon he's ever seen in his 11 years of practice. We do not know when she will be released. |
